CHILDREN'S DIVISION

The Children’s Division is designed for young dancers entering the world of dance, usually for the first time.  Students take class in their age group.  The class  will focus  on the developing Pre-basic and fundamental skills in movement that are  interactive and structure environment.  

 

Placement

Beauty for Ashes Contemporary School of Dance follows  a ten month -long syllabus from the beginning of Fall Semester through the conclusion of June . If your student is interested in joining an age based class, they must have turned the listed age on or before the calendar year when classes start.

Mommy and Me – Ages 2-3 

Creative Movement I – Age 4-5 

Pre-Ballet I – Age 6-8

Mommy & Me Class (Ages 2-3 years old)

Style music class designed to meet the developmental needs of newborns and infants through interaction with a parent or caregiver.

 

The Creative Movement for Tots (Ages 4-6) 

Our teaching philosophy is based on the premise that children thrive in a loving, positive and nurturing environment. This class for young children is designed to incorporate learning, creativity, musicality and fun. We will teach the young children the fundamentals of pre-basic dance and the eight basic steps to classical ballet. In addition, we will begin to develop the them through games of problem solving through creative movement, rhythm and improvisation. The class is taught by a highly experienced teacher who is devoted to teaching our youngest dancers.

 

Boy's Dance I (NEW)

This exciting new movement based class, is geared for boys, focuses on the athleticism of dance. The goal is to develop their large motor skills, technique, flexibility, musicality and  strength. This class is also wonderful for coordination, body awareness and is helpful for any future sport or dance activities. (Recommended for boys ages 4-6). 

 

Boy's Dance II (NEW)

Boy Dance II is an extension of Boy Dance I.  This class is designed to incorporate the Ballet I syllabus and will continue to develop the student's large motor skills, flexibility, musicality and strength.  The class provides a learning environment that couples ballet technique and athleticism as well as camaraderie. (Recommended for boys ages 7-8).

 

Pre-Ballet I (Ages 6-8 )

This class will serve as the bridge between Pre-Ballet and Ballet. It is the perfect program for a young dancer. This class program will introduced ballet vocabulary and class etiquette, focusing on the development of coordination, strength, flexibility, musicality and maintain proper body 

alignment. The goal is the class will be divided into twenty basic steps in Ballet.  Students will also be introducing and required to take Riddick Technique and Rhythm and roots hip -hop class.

They must have turned the listed age on or before the calendar year when classes start.

 

Rhythm & Roots Hip – Hop 

The  Rhythm & Roots Hip-Hop allows students to share their rhythmical  and creative  power of unity through dance.  The dancer  is encouraged to develop  their  motor skills, musicality and emphasis put on rhythm.  The goal is to provide students with an opportunity to create and release pent-up emotions and frustrations that accompany the process while growing up.  This class uses the influences of dance from of West African, Latin,  Caribbean and Hip-Hop.

Step 15. Once registration is sent, then go out of the screen and click make payment.
Step 16. Click payment, then login to your PayPal account and click BUY NOW.
